Green Bay, Wis. (Aug. 7, 2008) – In a joint effort by Current of Green Bay and Beacon of Kewaunee to bring together young professionals, the two young professionals networks are hosting Wine Down Tuscany Style on Thursday, Aug. 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Held at Parallel 44 Vineyard and Winery in Kewaunee, Wine Down Tuscany Style will feature everything from entertainment and appetizers to wine tasting and a vineyard tour. It is a great opportunity to meet other professionals and network outside of the Green Bay area.
"Regional collaboration is an increasingly important component of strengthening our local economy and workforce," said Brian Johnson, program manager of Current." By jointly hosting this event, Current and the Beacon are demonstrating their commitment to being regional partners and showcasing the benefits of working together."
Admission is $10 per Current member and $20 for non-members. That price includes wine tasting, entertainment, vineyard tour and hors d’oeuvres. In addition, optional group transportation will be provided departing from the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce office at 5:15 p.m. and returning by 9 p.m. for an additional $5 fee.
