FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Green Bay, Wis. (April 4, 2008) Schneider National, Inc., continued to top the list of the 30 largest private employers in the Green Bay area, according to recently compiled data, including full-time equivalents, by Advance, the economic development arm of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.

Schneider National has steadily risen through the ranks of this to claim the top spot as the employer. A leading provider of transportation, logistics and related services, Schneider National serves more than 80 percent of the Fortune 500 companies while remaining headquartered in Ashwaubenon.

As one of the nation’s largest transportation and logistics providers, Schneider National Inc. is proud of its roots in the Greater Green Bay area. “Green Bay is a wonderful community with traditional family values, and we’ve been proud to call it home for over 70 years,” says Tim Fliss, executive vice president of human resources. “The rich talent pool here has enabled us to assemble the best and brightest transportation and logistics professionals in the world.”

Advance revises this list annually so it can identify where a large portion of our local workforce is employed.

“We include this information in our FACT Book for individuals looking to relocate to our community who want to be associated with a larger corporation, along with site selects that are looking to place companies in our area,” said Barb Fleisner, vice president of Advance, Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.

Advance verifies the information by contacting human resources personnel at the largest area companies.
