Green Bay, Wis.-(Sept. 9, 2008) – Join the Northeast Wisconsin International Business Development Program and learn about The Devalued Dollar: A Blessing for American Exporters, Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008.

The devaluation of the American dollar is actually benefiting American exporters and giving them a competitive edge in the global marketplace. At the same time, foreign investors are seeking to form relationships with American companies because of the better investment opportunities available, aiding U.S. business growth at home and abroad.

Discover how far the American dollar can take you. Learn what regions and countries American exporters have the financial advantage, tactics used to control costs and protect profit margins, the mechanics of foreign exchange and how to finance your exports. Seminar topics include: Foreign Exchange Outlook for 2009 and Beyond, Foreign Exchange Overview & Effective F/X Strategies and Trade Finance Assistance for Area Companies. Presenting will be Donald J. Lloyd, Senior Vice President International Division, Associated Bank, William Brandenberg, Senior Foreign Exchange Office, JP Morgan Chase Bank, and  Michael Howard, Regional Director, Midwest Region, Export-Import Bank of the United States.

The seminar is hosted by the Northeast Wisconsin International Business Development Program, representing the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce, Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce, and Fond du Lac Chamber of Commerce and will be held at the Bridgewood Conference Center in Neenah from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $25 and include a plated breakfast.
