Current seeking to Rock the Vote at Oct. 22 event
Green Bay, Wis. (Oct. 8, 2008) – Current, Greater Green Bay’s young professional network, is prepared to rock the vote with a “Rock the Vote” event at the campus center on the St. Norbert College campus on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The free event is aimed at creating more awareness of the political process and encouraging young people to vote. It is aimed at connecting young professionals and interested St. Norbert College students with candidates appearing on the November ballot.
A recent survey conducted in the Greater Green Bay area of young professionals showed 98 percent were registered to vote and 79 percent voted in the last election.
