Green Bay, Wis.¬- (Feb. 5, 2009) – High school students and parents are invited to attend Partners in Education Financial Aid Seminar hosted by Wells Fargo Bank at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Attendees will learn about financial aid programs available to assist with paying for college. This program will teach students/parents about the basics of Federal, State and institutional financial aid programs. They will learn how to work with the financial aid office, complete the FAFSA application and understand the Financial Aid Award letter. Presenters will discuss how to complete the appropriate forms for grants, scholarships, Federal work-study programs and student loans. Presenters will also share tips on how to search for national, local, and institutional scholarships.
Seminar will be presented by financial aid officers from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and St. Norbert College. The program will held be from 6:30-7:30 p.m., with Q&A session from 7:30-8:15 p.m., in the Student Services Lecture Hall at NWTC.
