Book Time to Participate in Partners in Education’s Day at Barnes and Noble

Green Bay, Wis.- (April 30, 2008) - Come stock up on great summer reads and give back to your local community. The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce’s Partners in Education program (PIE) is hosting a "bookfair" at Barnes and Noble on Saturday, May 3. A percentage of all proceeds from book, media and even café purchases on Saturday will benefit the Partners in Education program. Partners in Education programming benefits students of all ages in the form of career exploration, work skills development, school attendance, leadership training and more.

To ensure that your purchase benefits Partners in Education, you must mention Partners in Education when you make your purchase. More information can be obtained from the Partners in Education representatives who will be available at Barnes and Noble that day.

Partners in Education works in collaboration with the 10 school districts (public & private schools) in the Greater Green Bay Area. The Partners in Education program involves community organizations in a variety of workforce development projects including area businesses, post-secondary institutions, as well as public and private schools.
