Green Bay, Wis.- (Mar 20, 2008)- Winners of the People’s Choice Awards for best appetizer and best dessert for the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours, hosted as part of Business Expo ’08 on March 11, have been announced.
Biebel’s Catering won best appetizer with its freshly roasted pig and barbequed pulled pork sandwiches, and Cheffetta’s Dining Experience’s flourless chocolate chai cake with strawberry chambord alongside Supple Group/Fratellos’ miniature chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting and banana rum sauce tied for first place in the dessert category.
There were nine appetizers and four desserts offered. Participants included local caterers: Apple Spice Junction, Biebel’s Catering, Frosted Delights Etc. LLC, Konop Food and Catering, Plae Bistro, LLC; Regency Suites, SC Grand, St. Norbert College, Supple Group/Fratellos, Titletown Brewing Co. and The Burger Co.. Attendees voted for their favorite in each category. There were nine appetizers and four desserts offered.
This was the second annual People’s Choice event. All three winning businesses will receive plaques for their achievements.
