Green Bay, Wis. (Aug. 6, 2007) – The Advance Business Development Center (ABDC), located at 2701 Larsen Rd. in Green Bay is pleased to welcome two new participants to its business incubation program.
Beginning Aug. 15, Brown County Oral Health Partnership, Inc. (OHP) will occupy two offices in the facility. OHP provides a coordinated system of dental care to low-income, uninsured and underinsured children and individuals with developmental disabilities residing in Northeastern Wisconsin with no dentist of their own.
"OHP is another example of how companies can capitalize on our synergy with NWTC," states Lori Ritter, Incubator program manager with Advance. "OHP hopes to use NWTC dental program students in their operation as they grow," she adds. "With our building located on the NWTC campus, it makes perfect sense."
Also entering the incubator is Cats Anonymous, Inc. They will take occupancy of an office effective Sept. 1. Cats Anonymous seeks to better the lives and reduce the number of stray and feral cats in Northeastern Wisconsin. To accomplish this, they promote, educate and advocate the non-lethal reduction of the feral cat population using the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) method in a safe and humane manner.
Cats Anonymous currently has a pool of 170 volunteers and 11 veterinarians. The incubator office will house the administrative office of the organization whose hope is for continued growth and awareness in the region.
The Advance Business Development Center has operated a successful incubation program since 1987, serving more than 200 companies. The facility offers office and light manufacturing space with attractive lease terms and a multitude of shared services such as office equipment, conference room space and free on-site business counseling, to growth-oriented entrepreneurs.
