Reminder: Golden Apple Nominations due November 17

Green Bay, Wis. (November 7, 2006)- Partners in Education, a program of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, would like to remind the public to submit nominations for the 14th Annual Golden Apple Awards, which recognize and reward high standards of professionalism in education by honoring educators in the Greater Green Bay Area public and private schools. Nominations for these important and exciting awards are to be postmarked on or before November 17, 2006. You don’t have that much time left - go out and nominate a deserving teacher before it's too late!

Educators are the heart of our school systems, as they inspire our children and prepare them for the challenges of the future. Help Partners in Education improve community awareness of the quality of education in the Greater Green Bay Area by recognizing and rewarding educators for a Golden Apple Award. Nomination forms are available online at <http://www.titletown.org/resources/ganomform07.pdf>, by calling the Chamber office at (920) 437-8704, or by visiting one of the major sponsor locations. Golden Apple Sponsors include: Associated Bank; Green Bay Press-Gazette; Humana Inc.; Imperial Supplies LLC; Schneider National Foundation; Schreiber Foods, Inc.; UnitedHealthcare, A UnitedHealth Group Company; and WLUK FOX 11. Golden Apple teaching practices will be showcased in the April 4 televised Golden Apple Awards Program.
