Contact: Jeanne Agneessens, (920) 593-3412

Green Bay, Wis.¬- (Jan. 29, 2008) —  Dance the night away - or just enjoy the music and networking with fellow attendees - at the 6th Annual Fun-Raiser for Leadership Green Bay, a program of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. The Fun-Raiser is set for Thursday, March 6, 2008, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Riverside Ballroom.
Join Leadership Green Bay as it celebrates its 24th year and raises funds to provide scholarships to eligible Leadership Green Bay program participants. The Fun-Raiser will include a chicken buffet, entertainment by Superior Sound Entertainment with Branson Smith, a silent auction, raffle prizes and, of course, dancing. Casual attire is welcome and a cash bar will be available.
The program aims to generate more than $5,000 to subsidize program fees for its 2008-2009 participants. Leadership Green Bay is a community leadership program that educates participants about the community and helps to mold them into contributing leaders. The benefits are many – individuals hone their leadership skills, the community at large benefits from leaders who want to share their newfound knowledge and skills through volunteer opportunities and businesses enjoy the benefits of employees who are aware of different leadership styles and can work well with people different than they are.
Corporate tables are available for $200; individual tickets are $20. To reserve your tables, please call Jeanne Agneessens at (920) 593-3412. For more information on Leadership Green Bay, visit www.leadershipgreenbay.org.
