This year’s Drug Alliance Prom Fashion Show honored Bobby Elliott, a senior at Notre Dame Academy, with the title of “Mr. Titletown.”

The show, hosted by the Partners in Education Drug Alliance, a program of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, always features prom fashions to raise funds for alcohol-free post-prom parties. This year’s program on Sunday, Jan. 25, included a twist – a Mr. Titletown Competition that pitted five male high school students against each other in the categories of formalwear, talent and questions and answers.

Elliott’s bio highlighted his involvement at Notre Dame Academy athletic events as the “Fan Man,” energizing the crowd. In addition, he is active in planning pep rallies, school fund-raisers and is an ex-officio member of student government. Bobby enjoys participating in these competitions because of “the camaraderie it builds between the guys and fun and excitement that goes along with the show.” The word that best describes Bobby: Enthusiastic.

Elliott’s talent segment was the “Evolution of Dance” by Judson Laipply, during which he entertained the crowd with a bevy of dance movements that spanned four generations of music. From Elvis Presley, to Rednex, to Jay-Z, Elliott’s moves electrified the crowd and earned him the Mr. Titletown crown.

Other esteemed candidates included Erik Cole, Denmark High School; Patrick Schmidt, Green Bay West High School; Kale Dudley, Seymour High School; and Tanner Hackl, West De Pere High School.

Competition judges included Frank Hermans of Let Me Be Frank Productions; Nancy Schopf, Partners in Education, Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce; and John Zakowski, Brown County District Attorney. The event, held at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center, welcomed more than 400 attendees. “We’re extremely pleased with the turnout for the first-ever Mr. Titletown Competition,” said Rebecca Deschane, youth development manager for the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. “The participation and excitement from the area schools added a whole new dimension to the event. We look forward to continuing this tradition in the years ahead.”

Special thanks to the many sponsors who helped make the show possible: DuBois Formalwear, Elaine’s Wedding & Event Center, the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center, Elite Music Service, Mary Kay – Barb Frisque, Flowerama, Indira Salon, Sassy Girl, Moda Bella Salon & Day Spa, Hair Concepts, artessence, The Music Caterer and WIXX.
