Green Bay, Wis. (October 21, 2005)  The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce announces today the 2005 recipient of the Daniel Whitney Award for outstanding volunteerism to be Phil Hauck, TEC, The Executive Committee. Hauck has supported the chamber in several capacities, including as a member  of the Board of Directors for Group Purchasing, serving on the advisory committee for the Nonprofit Resource Group, developing the Business Assistance Center tenant mentoring program,  chair elect of the Board of Directors, Bay Area Community Council, and more. The award will be presented at the Chamber's Annual Meeting and Volunteer Recognition Bash on Tuesday, October 25, 2005.
The Daniel Whitney Award is chosen by chamber staff and is given to an outstanding volunteer who has supported the chamber's programs and initiatives by serving on committees or volunteering time and skills towards chamber programs.
