FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Green Bay, Wis. (July 18, 2008) – Get a taste of Hawaiian flair at the 2nd annual luau for Current, Greater Green Bay’s young professional network, on July 24 at the Holiday Inn City Centre from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on the outdoor patio.
Last year more than 200 people attended and enjoyed an evening of entertainment and social networking. This year, there will be plenty of fun, with games such as the limbo and a hula hoop contest and great prizes. Attendees will also enjoy an authentic pig roast including baby red potatoes, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, corn with red bell peppers, rolls, coffee and milk.
"Current's luau is an opportunity for young professionals in the Greater Green Bay Area to connect with one another and their community," said Brian Johnson, Current program manager. "When you begin to discuss talent attraction and retention, it starts with individuals needing to be connected with people and places in their community, making them less likely to leave than if they were disconnected."
While enjoying the entertainment, fun and food, take advantage of half-price memberships for new Current members – only $25 for the first year!
Registration is $17 per person.
The event is sponsored by Schenck Business Solutions, Holiday Inn City Centre and ITT Technical Institute.
