FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Green Bay, Wis.- (February 19, 2007)- The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to introduce a new Web site that is sure to be a destination for information about living and working in the Greater Green Bay Area: cometogreenbay.com.

The site, which went live earlier this month, represents more than a year of work by the Chamber and Seismic Interactive & Design, a division of Imaginasium. Cometogreenbay.com is intended as a destination site for people considering a visit or move to the area, "but also promises to be a great resource for residents of the community," notes Ray Kopish, vice president, member services, Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.

Cometogreenbay.com is segmented into life and work areas, featuring such diverse offerings as insights into arts and entertainment, festivals and events and our culture and heritage, to links to area communities’ offerings, childcare and educational resources, to insights on business development and the economic climate. Some of this information was previously featured in printed form in the Chamber’s Newcomers’ Guide. While the guide has an important role in local companies’ recruitment efforts, the Web site is a welcome addition that offers even more information in a dynamic way. "People have the instant access that only comes from a Web site," notes Lynn Jones, interactive account director, Seismic.

In addition, the site not only features valuable information for people considering a move to the area or seeking goings on in Green Bay, "but equally important, captures the feeling of what makes the Green Bay area unique," added Kopish.
