The Healthy Lifestyles Cooperative, a Northeast Wisconsin provider of insurance and health and fitness services to more than 175 companies, welcomed Stephanie Mulroy-Berger as health and wellness coordinator for the Co-op as of Feb. 23.
Mulroy-Berger’s background is rich in managing large and intricately detailed projects; she also possesses a degree in exercise science and health promotion. She has worked at Boldt, Affinity Health and the UW Oshkosh Healthy Titans program.
“We’re thrilled to have Stephanie on the team,” said Sherry Freeman, director, health and fitness services for the Co-op. “She will be an integral part of growing our health and wellness services and aiding our work in creating healthier lifestyles that are a necessity for stabilizing health insurance rates.”
Since its inception in 2007 the Healthy Lifestyles Cooperative has been a driving force in positive change in the delivery of healthcare services in Northeast Wisconsin. True to its mission, “Stabilizing health insurance rates through cooperative purchasing, personal accountability and healthier lifestyles”, members have enjoyed single digit premium increases in both 2008 and 2009.
