The Healthy Lifestyles Cooperative, a Northeast Wisconsin provider of insurance and health and fitness services to more than 175 companies, today announced the promotion of Sherry Freeman to Director, Health and Fitness Services.
Freeman’s new role better reflects her responsibilities, which include primary responsibility for driving the increase in health and fitness of Cooperative members.
"Sherry has been a key part of our success, and we were thrilled to promote her to this important position," said Randy Connour, Executive Director of the Healthy Lifestyles Cooperative.
Freeman has been with the Cooperative from its beginning, serving as the HLC’s Education and Website Coordinator after working seven years of service in the health, wellness and fitness field at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee and Bellin Health in Green Bay.
Since its inception in 2007 the Healthy Lifestyles Cooperative has been a driving force in positive change in the delivery of healthcare services in Northeast Wisconsin. True to its mission, "Stabilizing health insurance rates through cooperative purchasing, personal accountability and healthier lifestyles", members have enjoyed single digit premium increases in both 2008 and 2009.
