FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Green Bay, Wis. (Sept. 6, 2007) The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing to host the man called “the most influential private citizen in America” by TIME Magazine as its keynote speaker at the Chamber’s annual meeting, slated for the evening of Thursday, Nov. 1.

Dick Morris, a prominent American political consultant, will headline this year’s annual meeting, which celebrates the Chamber’s 125th anniversary as an organization and the greater Green Bay business community. This year’s meeting – which is being hosted at the Regency Suites/KI Convention Center – will pay tribute to the business legends of yesteryear, the “living legends” of leadership as well as today’s leaders. Together, they’ll comprise the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce’s “Legends of Commerce” annual meeting theme.

“The greater Green Bay business community has changed a lot in the last 125 years, and we want to honor the people and organizations that have made our business community what it is today,” noted Paul Jadin, president of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. “We also plan to celebrate the common thread over the past 125 years, and that’s the Chamber of Commerce and its predecessor organizations’ roles as the focal point of community and economic development.”

Morris is anticipated to provide an engaging, thought-provoking address with the hard-hitting, nonpartisan, objective commentary about the U.S. political scene for which he’s known. Morris is perhaps best known for managing Bill Clinton’s successful 1996 bid for reelection to the office of President of the United States. He currently serves as a commentary for the Fox News Channel and writes a weekly column for the New York Post, another for the Hill Magazine in Washington, D.C. and another for Fox News. In addition, his reach extends to Vote.com, which he founded in 1999 to encourage people to share their opinions on major issues with significant decision makers. More than three million people have used this site to date.

Details on event times, ticket prices, sponsorship opportunities and more will be released in the coming weeks.
