FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Green Bay, Wis.- (Sept. 4, 2007)- The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce announces that it will hold informational meetings on its CEO and CFO Roundtables. These will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at 7:30 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn and Thursday, Oct. 11, at 7:30 a.m. at Brett Favre Steakhouse.

Each CEO Roundtable consists of 10 to 12 CEOs, owners, general managers or people in charge of a local operation who have similar company sizes and no competing interests, and who desire to share insights on their service, professional, manufacturing and retail operations. The CEO Roundtable program is based on the successful pilot program of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association (MMAC) of Commerce. The peer groups are designed to give top-level executives a way to share unique issues they face, as well as to discuss best practices with their peers in a confidential and non-competing manner.

“We deal with issues that specific owners with specific companies are having, not topics,” said Steven Van Remortel, co-chair and volunteer founder of the Green Bay Area CEO Roundtable program. “People in roundtables who have some place to talk about their problems do better and are more successful than those who have nowhere to go.”

The CFO Roundtable is modeled after the CEO Roundtable and is geared to treasurers, controllers or vice presidents of finance.

All applicants must be current members of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.
To register for an informational meeting, please contact Marilyn Heim at 593-3419. For more information about the CEO and CFO Roundtables, contact Ray Kopish at 593-3404.
