Business Recognition Luncheon Award Nominees Announced

Green Bay, Wis.- (April 27, 2007)- The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the nominees for the Business Awards, presented at the Annual Business Recognition Luncheon. The luncheon will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2007, from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Regency Suites/KI Convention Center, 333 Main St., Green Bay.

Designed to recognize small business achievements, growth, innovation and exceptional business practices, the luncheon offers an opportunity for local businesses to show their support for the accomplishments of fellow business owners. Cost is $21 for members, $32 for non-members. In addition to the award recognition ceremony and luncheon, the event will also feature a showcase, an opportunity for businesses to display and promote their products and services to the attending business professionals before and after the award ceremony. Awards will be presented in the following categories. Cornerstone, Entrepreneurial Growth, Growth, Special Accomplishment and Business Person of the Year.

Connexions Staffing, LLC, PO Box 1234, Green Bay - a permanent placement staffing agency that works from a simple, but pivotal premise: to connect quality companies with qualified professionals.

Dedicated Systems, Inc. and Affiliates, 3700 Dutchman Rd., Green Bay - a trucking company that services and handles anything from time-intense packages to oversized loads.

Downtown Green Bay, Inc., 333 Main St., Ste. 117, Green Bay - an organization focused on preserving and improving the social and economic conditions in downtown Green Bay.

Kim’s Tae Kwon Do Center, Inc., 2685 Shade Tree Ln., Green Bay - the school instructs and manages 35 head instructors, 130 black belts and 700 students who range in age from 5 to 65 throughout Northeast Wisconsin.
