Business Award Recipients Acknowledged At Annual Luncheon

Green Bay, Wis.- (June 6, 2007)- The 2007 Small Business Awards Recognition Luncheon held today at noon at the KI Convention Center acknowledged six businesspeople and/or businesses for their stellar performance, growth and contributions to the community.

The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce presented the awards in the five categories as follows (descriptions of award criteria are abbreviated):

Cornerstone Award, presented to a company that has demonstrated growth in sales, employees and/or service since its inception. 2007 recipient: PTS Contractors, Inc.

Entrepreneurial Growth Award: presented to a company doing business at least two but not more than five years; demonstrates a creative business approach and current success. 2007 recipient: Innovative Services, Inc.

Growth Award: presented to a company in business at least three years under current ownership that has demonstrated significant or continuous growth in sales, service and employees. 2007 recipient: Larsen Converting Industries.

Special Accomplishment Award: presented to a small business for extraordinary achievement other than entrepreneurial excellent, growth or cornerstone contributions. 2007 recipient: Pat Drury of Drury Designs Custom Homes, Inc./Olde School Square.

Small Business Person of the Year Award: presented to recognize a small business person who had demonstrated achievements in operating a small business as well as leadership in the community. 2007 recipients: Michael Krysiak of ENCAP and Jeff Mirkes of Downtown Green Bay, Inc.
