Green Bay, Wis. (Aug. 29, 2008) – How do you sift through all the demands of community involvement? Decide when and where and how to contribute? The first Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Business and Breakfast of the new season will address these issues, and more, with Community Involvement – What’s In It For You? held Thursday, Sept. 18 from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the F.K. Bemis Conference Center on the St. Norbert College campus.
The event is sponsored by Wisconsin Public Service Corp.
The diverse panel of small and large business representatives at this breakfast session will discuss the necessity of community involvement and how to cope with the demand. The panel will include Paul Meinke of Arketype Inc., Dr. Gary Ross of Community Health Charities of Wisconsin, Laura Mossakowski of Laura Mossakowski, LLC, Joe Simon of The Edge Awards, Vicki Ambrosius of United Healthcare, Christine Danielson of Volunteer Center and Karmen Lemke of Wisconsin Public Service Corp, and will be facilitated by Susan Finco of Leonard & Finco Public Relations Inc. Panelists will discuss what community involvement does for their businesses and organizations, how they decide what to get involved with and how to allocate dollars as well as staff time for their efforts.
A full breakfast buffet will be served from 7 a.m. until 7:30 a.m. with plenty of networking opportunities available. The program starts at 7:30 a.m. and runs until 8:30 a.m. Tickets are $18 a person per session for members and $35 a person per session for prospective members.
