Green Bay, Wis. (Feb. 16, 2009) –Advance, the economic development arm of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to welcome Jessica Beckendorf as associate vice president of economic development.
In this newly established role, Beckendorf, who has a bachelor of arts degree in urban and regional studies from the University of Wisconsin—Green Bay,  will manage various economic development programs and assist the vice president of economic development in the administration of the Advance annual work plan.
Prior to joining the team at Advance, Beckendorf was an associate planner for the city of Menasha.
Fred Monique, vice president of Advance, said, “We look forward to this expansion of the Advance economic development staff and the skill set that Jessica brings to the position. Her addition will enable use to rapidly develop more comprehensive business attraction and retention programming throughout Brown County.”
