FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Green Bay, Wis.- (June 29, 2007)- The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is calling for nominations of people the Green Bay community should know for its BBJ feature, "25 People You Should Know."
The Chamber’s "50 People You Should Know" issues of the BBJ, the Chamber’s bimonthly magazine, have been a huge hit—and a great look at the phenomenal people that make up this community. Nominees can be your neighbor, your co-worker, your friend, or a family member. The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce has decided to cap this year’s recipients at 25 so as to celebrate the 125 people honored during the past three years, just in time for the Chamber’s 125th anniversary this year.
Now is your chance to honor those people who make our community what it is. Sandy Atkins, Greater Green Bay YMCA, was honored in the "50 People You Should Know" issue last October and feels better connected in the community as a result. "It meant a lot to be recognized as a strong part of this community, having moved to Green Bay 19 years ago," noted Atkins.
Please nominate someone today. We are looking for men and women from a wide array of industries; business, retail, arts, entertainment, nonprofit, education, government, religion, manufacturing, hospitality, etc. For more information or to download an application form, visit
www.titletown.org. Submissions should be sent to llodes@titletown.org by July 17.
