Green Bay, Wis.- (Feb 29, 2008)-- The Business Expo 2008, Connections that Count,held on Tuesday, March 11, at the KI Convention Center, will offer access to a wealth of information during a few business-oriented presentations throughout the day.
Beginning at 11:30 a.m., Paul Jadin of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce will facilitate a discussion, The Village People, about ongoing collaborative efforts throughout the community and how these enhance economic development. Panelists are a group of elected and appointed officials from throughout the county.
At 1 p.m. Peter Weiss of Nicolet National Bank will ensure you stay Current. Weiss, the Current young professionals network vice-chair, will provide an overview of the Green Bay area’s young professional network and its mission, discuss how to integrate the four generations in the workplace and lead a panel in discussion on the value of working together to achieve common goals.
Gary La Fave of Freedom House Ministries, Kabeer Gbaja Biamila of the Green Bay Packers and former Packer Bryce Paup will present Families Helping Families at 2:30 p.m. They will inform their audience about how Freedom House advances homeless families through Life Advancement Programs offered by Freedom House.
The final presentation occurs at 4 p.m. with Terry Gerbers and Michael Rust from Gerbers Law, S.C. They will chat about the possible liabilities to business owners and the impact of liability limiting organization types, including LLCs, partnerships and corporations.
All discussions are free of charge to attendees of Business Expo 2008 with admission to the Expo.
Parking for the Business Expo is provided free of charge by The Business News. Attendees should park in the Main and Pine Street ramps.
